Detroit Care Room & Board is a family-owned and operated business providing 24-hour care for adults (ages 25-80) with physical, mental, and/or emotional impairments.  Since 2000, we've served the Detroit community from our four locations near the New Center Area, offering a holistic approach to care that emphasizes skill-building and empowerment. Our highly skilled staff, each with two or more years of experience and extensive background checks, focus on fostering independence within a structured, supportive environment. We prioritize client needs, partnering with families and placement agencies to achieve optimal outcomes.

 

Our mission is to provide superior, personalized service, focusing on a warm and loving atmosphere.  Our homes feature contemporary décor, family-style dining, and comfortably furnished bedrooms with amenities designed for client well-being.  We emphasize healthy living through nutritious meals (with monthly menus posted), regular exercise, and access to spiritual and emotional support.  Client safety is paramount, with fire extinguishers, emergency first aid kits, and a 24/7 on-call Board Certified Medical Doctor.  We maintain a clean and sanitary environment, including an emergency food supply for unforeseen circumstances.

 

The owners of Detroit Care Room & Board LLC bring over 45 years of combined experience in social work and adult foster care, having successfully supported hundreds of clients.  We are dedicated to rewarding employee achievement and maintaining profitability while consistently exceeding client expectations.
